Hi again. Sorry to clog your inbox a second time on a Saturday, but I wanted to issue an important correction to this week’s newsletter.

Faye Dunaway is very much alive.

I mentioned that we reviewed “Network” on our Patreon a couple years ago, but we did it in connection with the HBO Max documentary “Faye.” That was the time peg.

In rushing to get today’s newsletter out before the busy weekend begins, I didn’t double check the reason for the review, and I should have. We often devote our Off the Menu poll to legends who have left us, so that was my assumption, and the cause of my mistake.

Again: Faye Dunaway, alive at 85.

Thanks to the kind, astute readers who pointed out the error. The Type-A Virgo in me will probably self-flagellate for the rest of the day (but not with a wire hanger).
